Premier League Preview! Week 32!

Newcastle vs Wolves

Newcastle will be battered and bruised after their heavy defeat to Tottenham. They’ll need to come out fighting against a strong Wolves side that is still battling for Europe. This fixture has not ended goalless in over five games, so expect some goals here.

Everton vs Manchester United

Both sides don’t look good. United have been struggling for form but should have enough quality to beat an Everton team that is severely lacking confidence. Worrying times for Everton who’s run of fixtures are horrible. There are points available here for Everton. United are beatable. Goodison Park has also been a huge help for the toffees recently.

That being said, the way that Everton could not hold on to their lead and see out the game against Burnley is alarming. A league one side, let alone a premier league side should be capable of doing this. The future does not look bright for Everton. It feels like we’ll be saying this every week until the end of the season, but this is a must-win game.

Arsenal vs Brighton

This is arguably a must win game for Arsenal. With Tottenham and West Ham winning last week and Arsenals 3-0 loss to Palace. The race for the top four is definitely on, teeing up what looks like is going to be a crucial North London derby in a few weeks.

Brighton can’t seem to score. One goal scored in their last five games and winless in their last seven. A bit of a fall from grace from the Brighton we saw at the start of the season. Hard to see them getting anything away at Arsenal.

Southampton vs Chelsea

It’s fair to say Chelsea won’t be winning the league this year. They’re playing for a top four finish, but Spurs, Arsenal and West Ham are firmly on their tail.

Chelsea looks lost against a Brentford side who humiliated the European champions. They’ll be looking to come back strong against a Southampton side that’s winless in their last five.

Watford vs Leeds

This is a six pointer for Watford. They managed to create chances against Liverpool and will have plenty more opportunities against Leeds. They need to start taking some of these chances though before they run out of games.

Leeds will also fancy themselves here, unbeaten in their last three, this could be a goal-fest.

Aston Villa vs Tottenham

Spurs were impressive against Newcastle and are definitely marching on to the top four. Like we said last week, they can’t stop scoring, and we don’t see that stopping here.

Villa were unlucky last time out. They’ll be wanting to bounce back but will find it difficult against a very good spurs side.

Brentford vs West Ham

Brentford looked incredible in the second half against Chelsea. Although not on the score sheet, Ivan Toney is establishing himself as a complete forward and one of the better ones in the league with his link up play on display.

West Ham could be rotating some players after their midweek European adventures against Lyon. They may look at this Brentford game as an opportunity to play a few more fringe players.

Leicester vs Crystal Palace

Leicester deserved a win against United last weekend. They were unlucky to have a goal ruled out at the end of the match. Leicester created a lot of chance, however, as well Iheanacho played, he could’ve had a hat-trick. They need to start putting away their chances if they want to take away more points.

Palace out classed Arsenal. They’ve not conceded in their last four games, three of which came against opposition above them in the league. They’re playing exciting football scoring nine in their last four. Hopefully we see some more goals against Leicester.

Norwich vs Burnley

Another big six pointer for Burnley. Both teams are in woeful form. They’ll have to really fight hard this match. Points here would keep Norwich ‘s survival hopes alive.

Burnley will be coming off the high of beating Everton last time out, scoring three goals. They’d previously not scored in their last four games. They’ll be hoping to continue their scoring form against the bottom of the league.

Manchester City vs Liverpool

This is the title decider. Assuming both teams win out the rest of their games. Whoever wins this, wins the league.

Both teams are on fire, but we are siding with City with this one. Liverpool have struggled at the Etihad in the league recently. Their last league win there was in 2015. City have just one loss at home in their last ten games. All signs point in the direction of a City win.

Being a point behind, a draw doesn’t suit Liverpool. So, they’ll have to go for the win. This could be an end to end attacking display.
